The annual Texas ICSC Conference and Deal Making is less than a week away. This year’s conference will be hosted in Dallas on November 7th & 8th at the Dallas Convention Center.
Not to take anything away from ICSC’s mega commercial real estate event in Las Vegas every May, regional ICSC events such as the Texas Conference are excellent gatherings of the more localized players from every facet of the commercial retail industry and beyond. Frankly, the regional ICSC’s are a lot easier to tackle than Vegas, you can do a ton of deal making/schmoozing/networking, and your feet don’t hurt nearly as bad when the conference ends.
Everything is bigger in Texas, and so is the Texas ICSC. ICSC officials expect this year’s conference to meet or exceed the 2011’s attendance of 3000. This makes the Texas Conference the third largest regional gathering, behind California and Florida. Moreover, Texas has over 4,500 active ICSC members with more than half of them attending the Texas show….if you’re a player in Texas, you’ve got to be here!
Indeed, Metropolitan Capital Advisors will be there with ALL of our Senior Directors planning to attend. MCA is a proud Sponsor of the event and will have a booth set up in the Leasing Mall (Booth #741). Please stop by to Meet & Greet.
This year’s format will open the Leasing Mall on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 followed by a Cocktail Party hosted by ICSC. Thursday November 8th is packed with special events, speakers, and a luncheon in addition to the Leasing Mall being open the entire day.
Metropolitan Capital Advisors will be moderating the Capital Markets Session on Thursday November 8th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a panel of experts from the Bank, Life Company, CMBS, Equity, and Bridge Lending world who will discuss a variety of relevant current event topics affecting the capital markets for commercial retail properties. The panel includes:
